I heard a scream and went down into the woods. Apparently, they were killed by a group of orcs. Lying on the ground groaning in pain were a group of four adventurers consisting of a man and a woman in their early twenties.

When I called out to them, they exclaimed loudly. Looks like the extent of their injury is not that severe.

Noticing the intruder from the sky, the high orc nearby snorted warily. Unlike ordinary orcs, it is highly intelligent, so it may have sensed that I am not just a human baby. Still, as soon as it saw that I didn’t move, it slowly approached.

A blob of magical energy I released pierced through the lower jaw of the High Orc all the way to the top of its brain, piercing its skull.

The adventurers opened their mouths wide. On the other hand, the orcs who saw that their boss was defeated showed their anger and rushed towards us.

Shielding the immobilized adventurers with a barrier, I took on a group of orcs. It probably took less than a minute. I shot through the heads of more than a dozen orcs as usual, killing them all.

“M-magical power… maybe he released a mass of pure magical energy, and then shot their heads with it…”
“That seemed to be right. They all have a hole in their forehead, but… is it possible to reproduce such a thing…?”
“Normally, it’s impossible… It’s difficult to squeeze magic power to such small size… and that power… If it were me, I would be able to penetrate a soft cloth at most…”
“You mean, that baby… is that strong?”
I walked over to them and used my healing magic.

I introduced myself to them as they stood up in surprise.

A young swordsman timidly bowed to me.

“Don’t worry about it. There are more orc groups around here, so be careful.”
“Ah? Y-yes. But we didn’t expect to encounter such a large herd. And there’s even a high orc… No matter how many orcs there are in the forest, there should be very few high orcs… Maybe we were just unlucky.”
“Speaking of high orc, there was one earlier too.”

In any case, with their abilities, this deep part of the forest would be dangerous. They seem to have been keenly aware of this as they are planning to turn back as soon as possible.
“Since you are the one who defeated them, this large amount of orc material is yours of course. But-, it will be difficult to dismantle and transport such a large number.”
A young man who seems to be an archer proposes,
“So if you don’t mind, I can help you, at least as a thank you for saving my life.”
“Ah? That? You don’t have to, I’ll take care of it.”
I then plunged the orc’s corpse into my subspace.
“““T-The corpse disappeared!?”””
“It’s stored in a subspace created by magic and time doesn’t pass in that space. I don’t have to worry about it rotting, and as you can see, it’s easy to carry.”
“Oh, a created subspace huh… Could it be a kind of space-time magic…? Isn’t this ancient magic? It’s the first time I’ve seen someone who can use it.”
Space-time magic is indeed a reasonably advanced form of magic. Even in my previous life, there were only a handful of humans using it. There were a few more demons that can use it though.
