The magical airship I built, the Senigrandi, has three floors. The second and third floors are mainly guest rooms, and I was guiding Fana and the others there.
“Can I sleep over?”
“Yes. There are beds, toilets, and shower rooms in each room.”
“It’s amazing. Everything is available!”
The thieves used it badly, so it was hard to repair and clean.
“There is a single room for one person and a double room for two people, but it doesn’t matter where you guys want to stay because there are only a few of us here. I said there is a shower in each room, but there is also a large public bath on the third floor. So if you want to use it, you can do so.”
Unfortunately, there is not enough space on a ship this size to fit two large baths together so a mixed gender bath can be made. Well, anyways, I’m a baby, so it doesn’t matter whether I use the men’s or women’s bath.

The ship also has a large lounge that can be used for resting or socializing, as well as a restaurant and a bar. Of course, it’s not available now, but you can cook meals in the restaurant’s kitchen.
From the third floor, you can go out to the observation deck where you can have the sky all to yourself.
“Hm, superb view.”
“It’s nice during the daytime, but it’s also very beautiful at night because you can see the stars well.”
“…… You know a bit too much, don’t you?”
The Great Sage’s Tower was not a place that anyone could easily visit. In order to get there, we had to cross at least two major barriers.
The first is the vast desert. The Tower of the Great Sage is located in the middle of a dangerous desert, so you must cross this desert first. During the day, the temperature exceeds 40 degrees Celsius, and at night it drops below freezing point, and sometimes, violent sandstorms occur.
Whether you look to the right or the left, the sandy terrain continues, so it is not uncommon for people to lose their sense of direction and continue to wander and run out of strength here. It’s not just the harsh environment. There are many vicious monsters that have evolved independently in this desert. Since most of the people who entered the area easily did not return alive, it was called the “Grim Reaper Desert” at that time and was feared by many. However, with this magic airship that I built, it would be a breeze to cross this desert.
“It’s really an endless desert huh……”
“Hmm. There’s a monster over there.”
“It’s a hyena monster…… W-wait! Something just jumped out of the sand and it’s so huge!?”
A giant worm-like monster emerged from the hyena’s feet and swallowed it whole, with its huge circular mouth lined with sharp fangs. Then it quickly dived back into the sand.
“That’s a sandworm. It can swim in the sand at a great speed, and although it is blind, it’s very sensitive to sound. It is said that it can react to the sound of a prey walking up to a kilometer away.”
Many travelers have been devoured by sandworms. Of course, like the hyenas mentioned earlier, desert monsters were also its common prey.
Well, those hyenas are called evil hyena, they are by no means just a non-predator. They are sensitive and agile, and at times, they are able to dodge the sandworm’s attacks and they bite into the sandworm’s body, killing and eating it instead.
“Sandworms aren’t the only creatures that hide in the sand. There are other creatures too, like the Sand Anglerfish, which hangs a bag filled with water from the top of its head and eats anything that comes near it. There is also the Desert Anthell, that makes a mortar-shaped depression which traps its prey and prevents it from getting out.”
“……I definitely don’t want to go on foot in a place like this.”
As we continued to fly through the desert, we eventually saw a vast green area ahead of us. At the center of it all is what looks like a lake. At first glance, it looks like a desert oasis, but unfortunately, it’s not that simple.
