“Oh, we’re finally here!”
It was the fourth day since we left the Southern Frontier town.
We are finally entering a new territory.
By the way, from the border, we will change to a new carriage and ride it to the Viscountcy which is at the halfway point. That journey will last for two days.
Our journey through the Southern Margravate was truly peaceful. The weather was good, and most importantly, there were no monster attacks. So on the way, Shiro and Ao were either sleeping on my lap or on Sue’s lap. The lodgings we stayed at are also good. I was able to get separate rooms for men and women. Shiro would sleep with either me or Sue, depending on how she felt that day. Occasionally, we were asked to treat people in the villages we stop by, but that was no big deal.
Anyway, all in all, we had a leisurely journey throughout. Well, I can say that all of that is a proof that the Southern Margravate is well governed.
“I’ve heard that there is a forest on the way to the Viscount’s territory, so let’s be careful.”

It’s not going to be a leisurely journey from now on. The passengers on board with us before had also warned me about this.
The Eastern Margravate also has border security, so they regularly patrol the roads to exterminate dangerous animals and monsters. However, leaving aside the viscountcy, the road we are going to is full of small estates. Since it’s just a small estate, the soldiers in the area are not that many and the budget for asking adventurers to kill dangerous animals and monsters is limited. Meaning, it increases the likelihood that something will happen on the road.
“Normally, adventurers sometimes accompany passengers as escorts. Well, this time, we are already here so I guess we could also do the work.”
“Un! Even if something happens, Shiro will defeat it!”
“Shiro-chan is really energetic.”
We already boarded a new carriage. We’re chatting with each other, but the passengers are looking at us with questionably.
It’s understandable though. Because we are all underage.
By the way, there are two uncles and two aunts on board with us. The uncle is not a particularly bad person, but there’s something suspicious about him, so Shiro isn’t eager to talk to him. However, it would be a hassle to change carriages just to get going, so we decided to just head off even with him.

After traveling along the highway for a while in the carriage, we left the grassland and entered the forest. The road is well maintained but there are dense trees on both sides. The weather is cloudy so it’s a little chilly.
As I was thinking about this, something caught my search magic.

“Oh, something is coming!”
Both Shiro and Ao reacted, so they immediately took a fighting stance.
“Grrrrrrr..…”
A group of wolves emerged from the bushes. About a dozen of them are glaring at us with a growl.
“Uwaa, there are so many of them!”
“I-it’s over….…”
The other passengers are shocked by the number of wolves as they are more than expected.
Looks like they thought that we can’t defeat the wolves so they look like it’s the end of the world.
““Ei!””
“Gyan!”
First, me and Sue cast a spell to reduce the number of wolves. Of course, we did not forget to aim for their heads so that the material doesn’t go bad.
“To!”
“Kyauun~ kyauun!”
Shiro and Ao quickly closed in on the wolves that we had missed and kicked them away.
In the blink of an eye, the wolves were all killed.
Ao immediately began draining the blood from the wolves.
“T-there are no more wolves around.”
““Eh?””
I used the search again to examine the surroundings, but there was no hostile response. The passengers still don’t seem to understand that the battle is over so quickly.
“Shun-oniichan, I have retrieved the wolves.”
“Good job. Thank you for your hard work.”
“I’m going to clean up your body with life magic.”
“Yay, thank you Sue-oneechan!”
Right after that, we returned to our seats in the usual warm mood.

The passengers, having just seen something unbelievable, looked at us from a distance as if we were rare animals.
Hey, that’s rude!
“Hahaha, I’ve heard the rumors, but you guys are strong huh.”
“You mean, Shiro and the others are strong?”
“That’s right, you guys are very efficient. As expected of the goblin hunter.”
“Ehehe”
Only the coachman seemed to have heard about us. He was the only one who has remained very calm.
Shiro and Ao were in a good mood after being complimented by the coachman.
After that, there were a few attacks before heading to the first stop, but we easily defeated them. Well, compared to the Goblin General and that magician woman, they are no match for us unless we let our guard down.
The passengers no longer looked at us questionably but instead looked a little frightened. Maybe they were worried that we were going to do something to them because they had been rude to us before.
Of course, we will not do anything to them but I’m grateful for the quietness.
