Today, we are going to collect medicinal herbs that are getting out of stock in the Margravate. The place where medicinal herbs are often harvested is well known by the adventurer-oneechans who are with us. So, we checked-in together at the guild and then we set off.
“Oneesan, do we have to walk quite a distance to get to the place where we can pick the herbs?”
“We’ll get there in about ten minutes. Most of the adventurers of the Margravate gather herbs in that forest.”
“Oh, I see.”
Shiro and Ao are talking to the adventurer-oneesan about today’s task. Apparently, there is a forest that the locals frequent when gathering medicinal herbs.
As she had said, we walked for ten minutes and then we arrived at the forest, which is our destination for the day. This forest is larger than the one in the Southern Margravate, and I feel that a lot of medicinal herbs can be harvested as it’s a good season at the moment.

Shiro found a lot of medicinal herbs when we were at the Southern Margravate, and without surprises, she still quickly found a cluster of them this time. We started collecting the medicinal herbs. Sue also works with Shiro to collect more and more medicinal herbs.

“At this rate, the basket will be filled up in no time.”
The adventurer-oneesans are also excited to collect more medicinal herbs than usual.

A group of martial artists also defeated the monsters that appeared from time to time. They also got a lot of medicinal herbs, and today seems to be quite efficient.
Then, two hours after we started gathering herbs,

All the participants’ baskets were full so we decided to go back to the guild. Without empty baskets, there’s no point in having an item box. So, everyone went back to the guild for the time being to sell some herbs.

“Okay, we will collect that much.”
Shiro had checked with the guild’s receptionist. The guild is running out of herbs so the more we got, the better. Even if it’s double the amount, it’s not a problem at all so everyone buys some more extra basket at the guild shop and we head back to the forest again.
Back in the forest, they all collect herbs while I prepare lunch. Today I decided to make sausage and soup. For the soup, I had some soy sauce, so I tried making something similar to a Japanese-style pork miso soup.

As Ao and I were making the pork soup, more and more people started to gather around us, perhaps attracted by the smell.

When everyone was eating, there was a green slime that is smaller than Ao beside the Thief-oneesan.

Thief-oneesan pats the green slime lightly. She doesn’t hate slimes, so she might keep it as her familiar.

The slime also seemed to be happy with the name that was given to it, as it wobbled back and forth. In this way, we gained a new force, and the afternoon herb gathering progressed smoothly.
Before three o’clock, we had harvested twice as much as we had in the morning.
