When I saw it, the fish are pretty small. And they are too colorful to be a sweetfish.
“Is that sweetfish?”
“No, that’s a guppy!”
That’s right. In Island Maker, you can also fish for guppies in the river. Speaking of guppies, they are representative of ornamental fish. I feel like it was popular as a tropical fish in my previous life.
I wonder if I can get an aquarium if I use my points.
Thinking so, I decided to get not just an aquarium, but a set that can also be used to keep tropical fish alive.

The water tank exchanged for points is also equipped with a pump that pumps air and a heater that keeps the water temperature constant. By the way, the aquatic plants from the river can also be grown in the tank.
I wonder if everyone will be happy if I put it on an auberge though.
When the collection was done, we trotted back to the auberge. When I put them in the tank, the guppies swim vigorously. Thanks to the lights attached to the ceiling, the aquatic plants also look shiny.
The sight of colorful guppies migrating in groups is interesting, and you won’t get tired of watching them all the time.
Char and Upa seem to like it in particular, and they both stare at the tank for a long time. What’s more, even Silver, who I don’t know how he heard about it, came over and peered into the tank.
Given Silver’s physique, the auberge should have been too narrow for him, but he managed to force his way in. It’s a bit of a stretch given his size, but it’s a lovely sight to see, so I let him do as he please. Silver is smart, so he never makes a mess in the hallway.
In this way, the guppies charmed everyone, but it was Nowald-sensei who was the most pleased.
“They’re truly living gems. Cedie, are these the only types of fish there? I think there seem to be others like these too.”
I’ve fished in the sea before, but I don’t know much about river fish.
But this is Gandalcia island after all. There may be many other rare fish. Several species of tropical fish on Island Maker could be found for sure.
“I didn’t find it this time, but I’m sure there are other fish there.”
“Let’s search that river right away.”

The next day, Nowald-sensei and I started our search, and as expected, we were able to find several kinds of beautiful fish. All of the fish that appeared in Island Maker are there, such as angelfish and neon tetras.
We also found small shrimps that live in fresh water. Small shrimps are a blessing because they can eat the scraps that accumulate at the bottom of the tank. And the way they move around is comical as well.
And this time, we had a special discovery. It’s the Gandalcian guppies. The fluffy fins are large, and the color is particularly beautiful. It is probably endemic to the island of Gandalcia.
Since the number of fish collected increased, this time, I used 3 points to get a large tank. It is 180 cm high and 3 meters wide, so it is quite impressive. It’s like a miniature aquarium.
“This is good! It’s perfect!”
Nowald-sensei seems to be pleased with the new aquarium.
For a moment, I thought about using a tropical fish as a gift for Claire, but I decided against it. It would be impossible for Claire, who gets bored easily, to keep living creatures. Besides, I didn’t want to cause the servants any hardship.
I decided to stick with something safe like jewelry as my present.
I pushed Claire out of my mind and watched the fishes swim gracefully.
