Isekai Nonbiri Sanpo Tabi

Walking, Chapter 106: Changing the menu

The chairman of the executive committee had another request for me.

“Kiddo, please make that curry with the ingredients we have now.”

“That’s easy for you to say. Well, that’s fine I guess.”

Anyway, since we ran out of noodles and other ingredients, we couldn’t make yakisoba or pancakes anymore.

I still have some vegetables, so I might as well make use of the remaining yakisoba sauce.

I mean, I also run out of spices on hand, so this is the only option left.

“Oh, it smells good.”

“Looks delicious.”

“It’s not like what I ate yesterday.”

The aroma of the spices started to come out so Shiro, Fran, and Horn came to my side. The spiciness is modest so that children can eat it. There are plenty of vegetables and the yakisoba sauce gives it a rich taste.

I served it in small containers and have everyone taste it. Well, for the spiciness level, I place chili and pepper powder in small jars.

“Okay, it’s done. If you like it spicy, sprinkle this jar of chili and pepper powder on it.”

“It smells delicious.”

“I’m going to try it, too.”

“Give me some extra bread or something.”

The adventurers who had eaten lunch started to gather around me again. Since it’s already like this, I decided to prepare bread and rice.

“““Delicious!”””

Shiro, Fran, and Horn were eating curry with smiles on their faces.

It’s a simple thing, but I guess delicious food is best for Fran and Horn. I want them to smile more.

“This is so good! I want more.”

“I like that we can adjust the spiciness.”

“I can handle it even if it’s spicier.”

Curry is also popular with adventurers. Some of them even sprinkled a generous amount of hot sauce over it.

And perhaps attracted by the smell of the curry samples, several of the cherry blossom viewers were watching us.

Then the chairman of the executive committee made a decision.

“All right. Starting tomorrow, we’ll make curry instead of yakisoba. We’ll prepare bread and rice too. Our company buys the spices, so there shouldn’t be a problem.”

“““Ooh!”””

“Eh!?”

At the proposal of the executive committee chairman, not only the adventurers but also the cherry blossom viewers cheered. It seems that the decision has been made. We will start serving curry at the food stall from tomorrow, regardless of my wishes.

“By the way, the yakisoba stall will be closed tomorrow. We sold more noodles than expected today, so we need to make more.”

“But when the noodles are ready, are you going to make yakisoba?”

“Of course. Well, don’t worry, I’m planning on recruiting helpers.”

I’m worried that something will definitely happen…

That’s the end of today’s work at the cherry blossom viewing venue. We all head to the guild and go through the formalities before leaving.

“““I’m back!”””

“Oh, welcome back. So, she’s the new child huh. By the way, your package has arrived.”

“It’s from the Margrave’s family. Thank you.”

When I returned to the inn, the shopkeeper handed me the luggage. We had dinner then we head to our rooms.

“Now that there are more of us, we are going to change the order in which we sleep in the beds.”

“““Okay”””

At first, I said I was going to sleep in a sleeping bag, but everyone stopped me. It’s decided that they could sleep with either me or Sue. But because of Horn, it was decided that Shiro and Horn would sleep at Sue’s place and Fran would sleep at my place.

Horn’s luggage will be shared between me and Sue, along with the magic bag I bought for her. When the cherry blossom viewing is over, I need to buy Horn extra clothes and underwear.

And after dinner, everyone cleans up their bodies with life magic and goes to bed.

“““Zz, zz”””

“The three of them fell asleep right away.”

“They are very active today after all.”

When Shiro and Horn went to bed, Fran also fell asleep in no time. Hopefully she remains sound asleep like this.

Sue and I went to bed as well.
