Its size is comparable to that of this magic airship, and it is said that it usually lives by diving into the sand. Although it is rarely encountered, it is feared by many and is considered a symbol of despair because they will surely eat anything onsite once it attacks. By the way, the breath that erupts from its nose turns to a tornado mixed with sand.

Eleonore cries as she looks up to the sky. The other girls are also lamenting their misfortune.

Right after she said that, the sand at the base of the tornado rose greatly, and a huge body jumped out of it. Its body surface is the same color as desert sand, but it certainly looks like a whale.
However, while sea whales only rise a few meters above the surface of the ocean, this sand whale rapidly gains altitude as if it were swimming in the air.

On the other hand, the sand whale that fell to the ground was already in a dying state. The wounds caused by the magic cannon was so deep that it reached the organs in its body.

Its body seemed to expand rapidly, and the next moment, it exploded. Scattering blood, flesh, and guts all around it.
“To die like that at the end……”
“……Its flesh and organs are the favorite food of other monsters, and they will gather in large quantities in the future. Even if its dead, it’s still a nasty monster.”
A little blood got on the airship, so I put it in automatic cleaning mode to keep it clean.
“Anyway, now we can get down to the oasis as we want.”
When the magic airship hovered over a small lake in the oasis, the people on the ground was in a panic.
When I descended to the ground using the lifting function, I saw female soldiers on guard with their weapons at ready.

The soldiers saw Eleonore and their eyes widened in surprise and happiness.

“But what is that giant floating thing? It looked like it had just killed a sand whale……”
“Sorry for startling you. There were a number of circumstances that led to me being brought to this place by that ship floating in the sky you see.”
There were no more than twenty people gathered in this oasis.
It seems that there were fewer of them than expected, and Eleonore had a slightly gloomy expression on her face.
“I guess not many people could gather after all…. No, perhaps I should say that it’s good enough that we managed to survive. I myself would have been captured by the sand bandits without their help….
