Spotted wild boars rushed in as soon as they get excited.
They are fast, so if you are not careful, it can cause serious injury. If you don’t have a shield or a magic barrier, you won’t be able to stop the boar’s lunge, and you won’t be able to hit it with magic. It will be a bit difficult for the young villagers to exterminate them.
“Maya-san and Sera-san, are you hurt?”

I asked Maya-san and Sera-san during the break. They were both sweating, probably because of the continuous tension. They have to dodge the attacks of the swift boars, so they have to stay focused all the time.

Horn can’t cast magic on the wild boars, and she’s sulking a bit. She can’t cast multiple spells like Sue and her rapid-fire speed is still not very good, so there’s nothing we can do about it.
I think this is a good opportunity for practical training, so I encouraged Horn to keep up the good work.
And with that, break-time is over, then we resumed the varmint extermination.

At dinner, the villagers gathered and made a pot of venison. I also provided some vegetables.

We eat hot pot with the villagers while having such conversations.
Because it’s in the countryside, it is hard for them to get the latest information. Everyone is relieved to hear about the church from the village chief.
