The Margrave gave a wry smile, clearly troubled by whatever had happened.
Sue and I followed him into the reception room.
“The matter I wanted to discuss is about that heir. It turns out his family in the royal capital was involved in dealings with a criminal organization, and they made quite a mess of things. The army will be searching their mansion. Naturally, the plan for his family to come and take him back has been cancelled.”

Sure enough, when we got there, Fina-san and Shiro’s group were already waiting impatiently for the meal. The moment they saw us, they started complaining about how late we were.It looked like Silvia-san had been trying to calm everyone down. Honestly, she really deserved some appreciation for that.
