A few days later, Paul-oniisan delivered a goat and four chickens. I was worried at first, but all of them are doing well in the barn. I had heard that when stress builds up, goats stop producing milk and chickens stop laying eggs. However, all the animals lived freely, the goats produce four liters of milk every day, and the hens all lay eggs every day.

This is exceptional, isn’t it?

Perhaps a special force on the island of Gandalcia is at work that makes the animals healthier and more productive.

The chickens peck at the insects in the field, and the goats eat the grass along the roadside, which is very helpful.

After dropping Emma off at the hot springs, I hurried back to the auberge.

Haa- Haa, I’m pretty tired from all that running. Goats and chickens are good, but I’m starting to want a horse.
