“I don’t like fighting, but if you want to eliminate the Sacred Beasts, I’ll use this power to the fullest. Even if they are a messenger of God, I will defeat them.”

A large serpent slithered down from the top of the World Tree. Its total length is 100 meters. The body color is blue with a flaming red mottled pattern. Its sharp eyes were staring at the sky.

“There were some people who liked to come to kill me, I don’t know if they were angels or anything, but I’m going to swallow them whole. This Mabia-sama will.”

Mabia is the sacred beast of Kycilia Kingdom. It is said that it strangles huge enemies to death with its thick and long body. In addition, its fangs are venomous, and even the Gigant worm can die in a minute if bitten.

I hurriedly returned to the Allied headquarters and informed the generals of the angel’s attack. By the way, the generals are the same as in the Imperial War. The only thing that has changed is that Edner has become an official general.

Soon, the Allied forces formed the anti-angel formation. According to the World Tree, they are heading straight towards us from the south. There are about 100,000 of them. I can’t help but bite my tongue at the enemy’s force that was beyond my expectations.

The angels seemed to have been steadily building up their forces for the past month. I’d like to think that they are not, but if they are a horde of angels as powerful as Zazi, we have little chance of winning.

By the time the armies were deployed, the angels could be seen in the southern sky. The third-class angel seems to be much inferior to the second-class angel, Zazi. But even so, the other side is overwhelmingly superior in terms of status. I may have misunderstood. Zazi was not a name, but something like a number to call a second-class angel. As proof of that, all the third-class angels were unified as Norma. As I was thinking so, the horde of angels are getting closer and closer. Gradually, it became possible for the soldiers to see the enemy with their naked eye. The atmosphere in the Allied forces instantly became tense. Everyone was in a cold sweat at the number of angels that seemed to fill the sky.

The angels stalled not far from the Allied forces, then one of the second-class angels descended to the ground.

Is he the commander of this horde of angels?

“Hello Mankind. I’m Zazi, a second-class angel. As you probably already know, we are the holy army sent by God to exterminate the Sacred Beasts. Let me ask your intention once again. Will you face God or not?”

He flapped his pure white wings and took flight. I couldn’t help but emotionally refute it, but maybe some of the Allies had accepted the angel’s proposal. Thinking about this, I turned around, and a voice that shook the air was raised. No one seems to have been deceived by the angel’s words.

“Mages and archers get ready for battle. Angels are coming!”

A golden fireball was shot, leaving a sound behind. Even though I hadn’t given the order to attack yet, Erna had gone ahead and launched a magic attack. The fireball exploded in the middle of the enemy’s army.

A mushroom cloud rose up, and immediately afterwards, a tremendous shock wave swept through trees within a radius of three kilometers, sending hot air that kicked up the dirt and burned the skin. Although the damage to the allies was extremely minor, some were blown away, so it seemed that it would take some time to get the formation back in shape.

“Eh? I was trying to be gentle. It was more powerful than I thought.”

“Hey, if you’re going to shoot, tell me in advance. There’s a set-up for this you know.”

“Oh, I’m sorry. The enemies were crowded together so I thought it would be the perfect opportunity.”

Erna replies with a smile without hesitation. Although there was a small amount of damage, thanks to it, we succeeded in drastically reducing the number of angels. Half of them were wiped out by the explosion, and the rest suffered damage, including the loss of parts of their bodies. Unfortunately, the three second-class angels were alive and well. There are some injuries but there are no body parts missing, only the noticeable burns. As expected, they will not be easy to defeat.

With the swift instructions of each general, the formation is quickly reorganized. Mages and archers prepared to attack once again, aiming at the angels who descend to the ground one after another.

About 20 kilometers north of the forest city of Zara, one can see the so-called “Mountain of Dragons”. The rocky mountains towering in the deep forest are covered with trees, and wyverns fly off one after another. As far as I could find, the total number was about 100.

Freya then throw rocks into the mountain and successfully attracted about 40 of them. Pero and Liz also pulled the rest of the females out of the nest right away. Thanks to my comrades, there is only one left to protect the nest. It’s now my chance.

A gauge representing the percentage of control appears in my field of view and then the green bar begins to push the red bar. At first, it reached 60%, but then it lost momentum and plummeted to 20%. Since it is of a dragon race, it doesn’t seem like it will be conquered easily. I managed to get it up to 30% with all my might, but it no longer goes up from there. On the contrary, the wyvern judged that I am an enemy and launched an attack.

I managed to turn my body to the side, but it hit me with its tail. However, now that I have evolved, such simple attack can longer be effective. I then caught its tail that hit me on the side, lift it up and along with its body, I slammed it hard into the ground. The damaged flying dragon screamed, and the gauge reached 40% at once.

Ooh~, does dealing damage increase dominance rate? Then there is only one thing to do. Knock it down and turn it into my subordinate. From there, it became one-sided. I repeatedly grabbed its tail and slammed it to the ground, delivering chops that made its bones creak.

If it tries to escape, I tie its wings with a universal thread and make it unable to fly. By the time the gauge reached 90%, the wyvern rolled to the ground. As if it had given up on something, it showed its belly in a daze.

Shortly after, the body of the wyvern changes to a dark indigo color. Its physique has become one size larger, and its eyes turned red. A crimson mane sprouted from the back of its head to its tail. As if rejoicing, it roared majestically into the sky.

I was puzzled by the fact that its appearance after it became my familiar is different from what I imagined though. I then used Analysis(+) on it again.

Several skills were added as a result of becoming my familiar. What bothered me more was the indication that it was a mutant species. I decided to use stealth and hide under Waita’s feet, then I activated familiar creation skill on the females who have returned one after another. The females were easier to deal with compared to Waita. They became my familiar in about a minute. I spent nearly two hours subduing a hundred of them.

The homeless wyverns, which have a black body and red eyes, flew in the sky with its leader, Waita, in the lead. The figure was graceful yet majestic.

I finally got a dragon I longed for. The “My Strongest Dragon” that I drew as a child became a reality. I think I’m going to sleep well tonight. Kukuku.

Sir Frederia said so and then he clinks his glass with a spoon. The maids came in and the plates that are brought in had thick steaks on it. Ten large centipedes were undulating in the plate.

The conference at the guild headquarters lasted three days. After returning to their respective kingdoms, the leaders sent troops to Sanargia, the place chosen as the battleground. On the other hand, me and the others were tasked with transporting the other existing sacred beasts.

From the kingdom of Dartan is Silva, Airavata from Naji and Mabia from the kingdom of Kycilia. We transported these three sacred beasts to the World Tree in Sanargia. By the way, the main reason why Sanargia is the chosen battleground is because the World Tree Treant is rooted in the ground and cannot be moved. In addition, Sanargia boasts a large territory, so it is easy to fight there.

After transporting the sacred beasts safely to the forest city of Zara, we rested for a while until the armies of each kingdom were assembled.

“It’s been a week since the meeting, but there hasn’t been a movement from those angels huh.”

“There’s probably a reason why they can’t move right away. Well, that’s a good thing for us.”

“However, we don’t know when they are coming, and we don’t know what the enemy’s strength is. It’s like being forced to fight blindfolded. I think we should just be ready to raise the white flag.”
