The water phoenix soars high in the sky and flutters its wings towards Erna. The wind that swirled up fell on the target in the form of hundreds of blades.

After I got up, I peeked at the town from the window. Today is the third day since we came to Sarasvadi. As planned, it is now time to go back to Mana.

“Uuhh… Hot…”

Pero woke up but he looked tired. The inn we are staying at didn’t have air conditioning and it was very hot. For Pero, who is covered in fur, the tropical nights must be hell. On the other hand, it was very good for me. It’s very cool to sleep next to my son, who exhales cold air. Pero probably didn’t know that I was secretly sneaking closer to his bed in the middle of the night.

“Good morning-nya!”

It was Lena who opened the door and walked in. Since she is staying at the same inn, we can see the face of this cat girl in the morning. I wonder why she would rather stay at an inn when she could go to her parents’ house though.

“Your Excellency, after arriving in the city, the movement is as agreed beforehand. Please do not let anyone escape.”

“I know, we will lock down the city as soon as we arrive. In the meantime, Hero-dono will gather information from the adventurers, right?”

“Yes, I want to know as much as I can about their movements.”

Following King Logas’ words, the man placed the four coffins in front of the king. Everyone is wondering what is going to happen.

The lid of the coffin opened all at once, revealing four skeletons. All of them are dressed in white robes and have their hoods pulled over their heads. Each of the four figures is inlaid with red, green, brown, blue, and other stones that appear to be magic stones, and they dully reflect the sunlight coming in through the window.

“Don’t worry about it Feria. It’s true that your magic didn’t work, but they will be on our side. As long as we have those four, victory is certain, right?”

“That’s true, but what I can’t forgive is a magical beast wearing a great mage’s robe. White robes are originally supposed to be worn by humans. It’s infuriating that he is putting it on something we don’t know.”

Aside from Feria, who was trembling with anger, Arvish and the others were delighted with the artificial lich. For Arvish, who is advocating for the annihilation of the Homeless party, the four of them seemed to be reassuring allies.

King Logas speaks to them.

“Hero Arvish, you must work with Professor Jill to bring that great sinner here. If it’s not possible, you can just bring his head to me. I’m counting on you.”

The three of them bowed deeply to the King and then they walked out of the throne room. The four of skeletons walk behind Professor Jill while clattering their jaws.
