My encounter with Upa opened up the possibility of building an inn.
At first, I thought he would be a gatekeeper or a security personnel, but it seems that I was misguided.
Apparently, the inn can be upgraded as well. From inn → small hotel → big hotel. But I wonder if Upa will be the manager then.
Everyone started paying attention to me, who is constantly tilting my head as I think about it.
“Father, what’s wrong?”
“I can now build a new building. It is all thanks to meeting Upa.”
Lynn also got interested.
“What can you make this time?”
“It’s an inn. And the place is…… Hmmm, right next to this building should be fine. Uh-wait…., I can combine the canteen and the inn to make an auberge!”
An auberge is a restaurant with accommodation. If I am to build that, the required points increase from 7 to 12. However, the facilities will be more luxurious, so it was a better deal than making them separately.
“Auberge sounds interesting. In that case, will the canteen be upgraded as well?”
“Yes, it looks like I can do a lot of things. I can even set up a wine cellar in the basement.”
“That sounds great!”
Seeing me and Lynn getting excited, Upa scratched his head in confusion.

Upa looks at me in disbelief.

The rain that had been falling heavily had almost stopped, and the sky is starting to clear up.
It only takes less than a minute to build an auberge. This way, everyone won’t be a wet rat.
The auberge, which is by no means luxurious, but looks cozy, has been completed. The building is a simple two-story building.
When I opened the front door, I was greeted by a small lobby. The reception counter is just to the left. On the right side of the lobby was the entrance to the restaurant, and at the back was the guest room and the stairs leading to the second floor. There seem to be a total of five guest rooms. “No, that’s not going to work. I have to pay what I owe.”
Upa seems to have a much more serious personality than I thought. He may think that it is brazen of him to have a free hot spring treatment.
“Then why don’t you get a part-time job here?”
“Part-time job? Is there anything I can do?”
“It would be helpful if you could be the manager of the inn here.”
There is also a manager’s office behind the counter, and there is plenty of space for one person to live in.
“Me……? I’m going to be the manager of the inn……? Ku-kuhahaha.”
Upa started laughing.
“Is it no good? Well, I’m not forcing you to do it……”
“Sorry, sorry, that’s not it. I’ve been asked to do a lot of things in different places you see. But this is the first time I’ve been asked to be the manager of an inn. I’m the manager of the inn…… Kuhahaha..…”
Upa was muttering and laughing by himself.
“Maybe not?”
“Let me tell you, as you can see from my appearance, I’m a man who only knows how to fight. So do you really think it’s okay for me to be the manager?”

“It’s fine. For now, it would be okay if you could greet guests that comes in and do the cleaning, laundry, and accounting.”
“Hmm, if that’s all…… I think I can manage.”
“Then I’ll leave it to you!”
“You never really know what life will bring. I never expect that I, who was known as the Grim Reaper of the Battlefield, would be put in charge of managing an inn!”

“I haven’t advertised it yet, so I don’t think there will be any customers for a while, so please take a leisurely treatment in the hot springs. Oh, and you can help out Lynn’s restaurant if you’re not busy.”
When I asked him to do so, Upa seemed happy.
“Okay, leave it to me. Nice to meet you, Head Chef!”
“Nice to meet you too, Manager!”
Even though it was such a small auberge, the two of them addressed each other with the position in a luxury hotel.
