The sand whale, as the name suggests, is a whale monster.

Its size is comparable to that of this magic airship, and it is said that it usually lives by diving into the sand. Its personality is very belligerent, and it seems to have an unusually large appetite. Even their own clan are their active prey, which is why their population is very small even in this vast desert.

Although it is rarely encountered, it is feared by many and is considered a symbol of despair because they will surely eat anything onsite once it attacks. By the way, the breath that erupts from its nose turns to a tornado mixed with sand.

“I can’t believe I’m going to run into something like this…… Uh! Has the God of the Desert forsaken us?!”

Eleonore cries as she looks up to the sky. The other girls are also lamenting their misfortune.

“But it’s a monster in the sand, right? We are flying high up in the sky, so I don’t think you need to be that scared, right?”

It was Anje who calmly pointed it out.

But Eleonore shook her head.

“Don’t underestimate how terrifying it is. If it really wants to…… it can even go to this altitude.”

Right after she said that, the sand at the base of the tornado rose greatly, and a huge body jumped out of it. Its body surface is the same color as desert sand, but it certainly looks like a whale.
