“Huh?”

Uhm, let’s review the situation. When I woke up, there was this woman, a goddess-like person in front of me. She seemed to be talking about something related to my current predicament. Everything around me was pure white, and I had no sense of space.

A gentle breeze caressed my cheeks. I feel a little cold, but I also feel the warmth of the sun. Savoring such serene atmosphere, I slowly opened my eyes. I blinked a few times and then I looked around.

“Is this the new world? It somehow feels no different from Earth.”

I am now standing near a certain road in a certain world. There are no people around, only us. 

—Me, a cat beastman and a slime are standing on the roadside. The road was made of dirt, but it is better maintained than I imagined. The surrounding area is a plain, with trees standing here and there. Birds are flying around, and it feels like an idyllic countryside.

“Hey, Shun-oniichan, where are we going?”

“Oh right. Just a second, Shiro. I’m going to bring out the map now.”

Shiro, a cat beastman with pure white hair and porcelain skin, is tugging the sleeves of my clothes while looking up at my face. 

I opened the world map in front of her and checked our current position. On top of Shiro’s head is Ao, a slightly bluish-colored slime. Ao also stared at the world map with Shiro. I smile a little at the sight of the two of them then I also check the world map.

“If we keep going straight on this road, it looks like we’ll arrive at the southern frontier town. But should we camp out today?”

“Okay! It’s fine with me! Let’s go! Let’s go~”

Shiro and Ao cheerfully raised their hands and started to lead the way.

We all walk along the road leisurely. I checked my luggage in the item box, and I found that we have enough food for a few days and all the necessary equipment for camping.

We’ll, I’m not particularly in a hurry so we could go leisurely and slowly.

“Shun-oniichan, what are we going to do from now?”

“We are going to the town first. We are going to register as an adventurer and we will travel around the country while completing requests.”

“Really? Can Shiro be an adventurer too?”

“Don’t worry. Both Shiro and Ao can become adventurers. Besides, we are only taking reasonable requests for a while so it will not be dangerous.”

While talking with Shiro about the future, we walk down the dirt road. 

Oops, right. I have to tell Shiro and Ao something important. It’s a very crucial one.

“Shiro, Ao, don’t tell anyone that we’re from another world, do you understand?”

“Yes, keep it a secret.”

Shiro and Ao listened to me and they raised their hands cheerfully again in agreement.

That’s right. We came to this world from another world. 

Recalling that mysterious event, I looked at Shiro who is still walking cheerfully in front of me and Ao who is riding on her head.
